Presents From Australia!:)

On Thursday, one of the blogs my class and I follow, 2KM @ Leopold Primary School, gave Mrs. Yollis, my teacher, a package from 2KM!

She gave us Australian flags, Vegemite, a book called Possum Magic, and lessons that go with it!

You can find out more about it at Mrs. Yollis' blog. Click here to visit her blog!

Dear Kayla,

Thanks for posting about our present on your blog!

Did you enjoy the Vegemite? I don't think you can buy it in America can you?

I noticed your favourite sport is ice skating. That is very interesting because I don't think anyone in 2KM would have been ice skating before!

@ Miss. McGeady,

Thanks for all of the presents again! Great 2-point comment!

I was very anxious to see what was in the package.

Sydney started singing the song when Mrs. Yollis passed out the flags, and that was how we came up with the idea of the video.

Sincerely,
Kayla =)

Dear Kayla,

what a great blog you have set up I just love it.
I too did notice your favourite sport is ice skating and I must admit I really love ice skating too but somehow it did not like me as I would lose my balance all the time.
So nice to hear that you really liked the parcel 2KM sent you all. What was your favorite item you liked the best? All the best with your blogging site regards AA.

@ Miss. McGeady,

Sorry I didn't answer you back about the Vegemite! Well actually, Kate's grandmother came into our class, and she brought some Vegemite sandwiches with her. Mrs. Yollis encouraged us to try it. So I did, and I would have to say that it's not my taste. Since she brought it in, I'm guessing that we could buy it in America.

Sincerely,
Kayla :)

Dear Kayla,

I was so glad to hear that you did try the Vegemite even if you found that it wasn't really to your taste. It is great to try new things!

Keep up your excellent work on your blog,

Your friend,

Dear Kayla,

I was shocked when I saw that they gave us all these things. I liked when we did the video with the flags. My favorite part of the movie was when we put up our hands and sang Australia. Did you like the movie we did?

Sincerely,

Ava
